Then, since it's been awhile since my family had dinner in a nice restaurant, we decided to go to Cafe Barbera for dinner. Buy one, FREE one on all beverages, pasta's, soups and pizzas. Well worth it. We got the waiter to recommend the best choices to us and it was worth ever penny spent!

Not only that, before having dinner in Pyramid....i found the skirt i've been looking for! ♥ As we passed by MNG, we noticed a lot of people scrambling around and pulling things from the shelves. I thought since we were already here, no harm in checking the sale out. I didn't find anything that suited my taste at first. I went to the skirts section but nothing caught my eye. Until i saw a lady carrying the asymmetrical skirt in black! I told my mum and i went looking around the whole store with no avail. 

Until my mum went back to the skirts section. After looking carefully, she pulled out the skirt from the end of the pile. I was jumping up and down in joy! Teehee. I was just hoping that it would be in my size. After trying several on, i found the right one ;)

Home sweet home.

I don't understand why people complain when they spend time at home. Ever since i've finished my last paper, i've been enjoying every single bit of free time i have at home. :) 

There's no rush for anything. I can sleep in, do chores at my own pace, turn into a massive couch potato & watch TV shows all day long, and most importantly, have enough time to catch up on Vampire Diaries.

Without fail, Vampire Diaries is the only show that makes me wanna meet a vampire who looks like he's in his 20's & fall head over heels for him. 

Plus, on Sat we managed to visit the Career Fair in Pyramid since we've already signed up beforehand. But we managed to find the time to do everything else & dedicated less than an hour for the fair. :)

After walking around for awhile to burn off some calories, we saw this long line near the IT stores.

Turns out iFamily (I believe that's the shop's name) was having a promotion. First 200 customers gets to participate in a lucky draw, whatever item you've won, just pay RM1 & it's yours. Sounds like a good deal so why miss the opportunity? :D

When we finally reached the Career Fair, i was just too tired to do anything else. I just tagged along, admired booths, listened to job opportunities & collected loads of freebies. :)  

At least now i have more information about the working world. Till then, it's back to being lazy at home. :)

For some strange reason i've been having random cravings for all kinds of pork lately. I know excessive consumption is definitely going to be bad for health but why do i keep getting these random cravings? =__="

Plus, after having Jo Jo Pan Mee for dinner yesterday i've been wanting to eat it again & again. I feel like i'm drugged. They must have had some secret ingredient in the sauce to keep me coming back for more. Well, it's time to stop focusing on food (which neither one of the cravings have been satisfied) and focus on every other thing. 

Besides my uncontrollable cravings for pork & pan mee, i've just been enjoying my free time.

Managed to catch Dark Shadows today with the girls. Unfortunately, i was thoroughly disappointed with the show. I had such high expectations for the show just by watching the trailer. And the very fact that Tim Burton directed it. I loved the characters no doubt. But it felt as though the show had too many gaps in the storyline, not really explaining the back story but quickly jumping from scene to scene. Too many unconnected dots.

But it was a good day out. Next stop, sleepover in Klang! ♥

Don't rain on my parade

I've been having too many constant late nights that i'm super tired today. Just finished off my presentation slides & i'm too tired to start studying for anything. I need to sleep in. At least once. :)

It's kinda frustrating how my wallets wear out so easily. Longest lifespan for most of my wallets is usually about a year. Now my current one is also slowly coming apart. Look at the edges of my wallet. :'( Oh wells, at least it's still usable. Not time to change my wallet yet!

Today, i salute those who can withstand the pain of facials.

Being a girl...definitely has it's down moments. The price you'd pay for beauty, or even just to maintain healthy skin. I'm not talking monetary terms, i'm talking in terms of physical and mental torture we put ourselves through.

Another Groupon deal to 'pamper' oneself.

The best part is that i didn't even know of it's existence, two doors away from KFC in Taipan. The moment i stopped outside of it, i knew that it was a deal well worth it because it looked so posh! :)

I didn't have to wait long until it was my turn to get my facial & massage.
No pictures cos i had to keep everything into a locker. 

Started off with consultation. The beautician was helping me to figure out what was wrong with my skin (internal/external). Then a nice relaxing shoulder massage before the serious stuffs began.


Everything went well until the extraction part. I can't begin to describe the pain. Although i've gone though it several times, it's never easier the next time round. At moments, i just wanted her to stop completely. Or wish that they would provide anesthetics. Or anything to lighten up the mood.

But all in all, i felt much better after the whole process (esp after the cooling mask). My skin feels much better, finally able to breathe better this time round. And not only that, i managed to get freebies!

On another note, my family loves purchasing Groupon deals! Especially since if it's around Subang Jaya.

We bought Gelatto this time round. ;)

After class, we rounded the whole of SS15 trying to find the shop. The crappy part about SS15 is the fact that all the signboards are either torn down or plastered with advertisements. Eventhough we had the address, we could not find the place. We rounded the whole SS15, keeping our eyes peeled for the Lezzato sign. It had to be there, somewhere at least.

After opting for GPS & calling the place, we found it.

It was such a sleezy & dodgy shop. There was no one there, NUMBER ONE. It didn't even look like a shop that served gelato, it was filled with boxes and large coolers, NUMBER TWO.

I guess that's why the deal was on Groupons. =____="

It's always taking us forever to redeem our vouchers. We took over a year to redeem this Dim Sum deal. On the bright side, it's always (well most of the times) worth it. Especially because we have such a killer deal.

Plus, i kinda had trouble with my contact lens on that same day. Not only does it hurt, i ended up wearing only one contact lens & rushing home to get my glasses. Le Sigh.

The food was good no doubt about that. the 6 of us were so stuffed after that. We had lo mai kai, char siew pau's and even dessert. Lastly, Jasmine tea to wash everything down. :)

We walked around after that, in hopes that the food will digest faster. heh.

I doubt it's just me. But it's so coooooooool! :)

For some reason, we all ended up at Snowflake. Despite the fact that we have a branch right outside our college. I guess the atmosphere was better there ;)


Now it's time for me to work, work and work! Last semester is the time to make the most out of it. :)

'Roadtrip' around KL ;)

One of the disadvantages of enjoying myself too much is falling sick.

*grumbles* My semester is beginning next week and i'm sitting at home using up boxes of tissues and feeling woozy the entire day. I still have not completed my resume. :)

It's just that i want to sit at home without a care in the world. Sleep in all day long. And gym till i actually feel like i've accomplished something. Well, few more days left to achieve that!

I shall take loads of flu meds and sleep to my hearts content :)

On Monday some of us decided to go for a 'roadtrip'. At least that was our original plan. We started with Dim Sum at PJ in the morning. And..we were absolutely clueless on what to do next. 

So we decided to go to Levian. Even after having Dim Sum for bfast!

I still can't get over how the guys tricked me. They manage to steal my pastry right under my nose and lie to me about eating it in two bites. It was just lying on En Lin's lap the whole time. =___=" Lovely friends! Hmmphhhh.

After that we headed to Pavillion to purchase movie tickets. But as usual, tickets were available but it was right in front. I feel so deprived. I haven't seen any movies in awhile. Planning to catch 23.59. Horror flick. ;)
