Shiseido Makeovers!

Who doesn't loves free makeovers? 

I'm quite thankful to have the chance to experience such things once in awhile. After barely getting any sleep the night before my final paper, i looked like an ultimate poster girl for a zombified student. ;) So after writing for almost 4 hours & 15 minutes, i was already worn out. 

Managed to grab some lunch at Ikea after that. IKEA MEATBALLS IZ ♥ I just can never get tired of it. Paired with their chicken wings, it made everything seem much better. Although i felt guilty after indulging in it, it was worth it. 

I digress, anyways Shannon and I then dragged ourselves to Shiseido's office near Ikea. Thanks to Valen who kindly drove us around. :)

Hehs. I'm always not used to the aftermath. We were basically their guinea pigs. They needed some practice for a competition they are going to attend in Japan. Something like that. Since we came for free, they gave us  goodie bags to compensate for that.

Just a short update on the first thing i've done since completing my finals.

Closing of another chapter.

After 4 years and about 4 months of college education, it's finally over. :)

It's an awesome feeling. It's not that i'm not going to miss college life. It's just that i feel accomplished. The very fact that i managed to survive all these years of education. All those late nights, late minute work, terrible lectures and even unreliable teamates was worth it. Every single thing. It's an end of one chapter of my life. And i'm happy to say that i can look back on it with a happy heart :)

Now all i'm asking for a clean break. By doing absolutely nothing college/work related. I've had measly two weeks in between semesters and the longest being one month at the end of the year. So yeah, i need this break before i begin the next chapter in my life. 

Yet people try to make things worse by telling me that i shouldn't be happy because working life comes next. I can't enjoy anymore, i can't be this free, i can't do this & i can't do that. It's annoying! 

I just finished my exams, give me a break. 

Putting everything aside., it's time to just relax at home! :)

Procrastinator at work!

Once again, i find myself full of creative ideas on how to spend time instead of studying. The clock is ticking and yet i seem to find time for everything else. I amuse myself.

So last night, in the midst of reading notes for Career Development, i felt like painting my nails. And i didn't want just one plain colour. I wanted to recreate designs or patterns on my hand. (yeah..too much  free time)

After trying at least 10 different designs (which failed), i settled for Strawberry Nails. I thought it looked super cute in the pictures & it was for beginners. So i gave it a try. :)

After 3 tries, i ended up with this. 

It's sorta failed. But i'm excited to try out new designs, especially once my exams are over.

Bittersweet week

I can't believe that it's my last week of classes!

So bittersweet. So happy to finally finish up presentations, but incredibly miserable over the fact that i'm going to be done with college life. 4 years passed us by in a blink of an eye! Some people i've met since Sem 1 stayed on, some left for good. It's been a pretty interesting journey. 

I will miss walking in the hallways to classes, greeting people, having random talks with lecturers, falling asleep in class (heh), but mainly i'll miss the whole idea of being a student. 

I've never been the best student. Nor have i been the worst student. But last minute work, procrastination and stress played a huge part of my life. :)

Plus, with all the interviews this week. It's hard not to be so stressed out!

Each time i think of OB, i get frustrated. =/ One test i know i definitely screwed up!

After quite a frustrating day, i thought that my day would be made by ordering Grape Vitagen Lychee Agar Tea from Par Tea Time. Been eyeing that even before Lent. But never got the change to try it till today. 

Unfortunately, they changed my grape to orange. :( Still good nonetheless!

Boredness led to trying-to-be-kawainess. 

Zombified student!

It's one of those weeks where i'm supposed to rot slowly in front of my computer. And i am. I have the time to complete everything else but the task at hand. Then i'll end up sleeping around 4am.


It's been two days and i already feel like a zombified student. Today was one of the rare days where i actually fell asleep in class. FELL ASLEEP. I admit, i've dozed off plenty of times during boring subjects. Especially when there's 8am classes.

But this has to be one of those rare moments. Heh. The best part was that the whole class was sleeping at the same time. While my lecturer was going on & on & on & on... And then it rained. Even better reason to just lie on the table and sleep. I felt so bad for my lecturer but none of us could stay awake any longer. Even after reaching home i crashed.


Life is good. I'm gonna enjoy every bit of this before i start working. :)

Now i just need this place to sleep in ;)

It's always taking us forever to redeem our vouchers. We took over a year to redeem this Dim Sum deal. On the bright side, it's always (well most of the times) worth it. Especially because we have such a killer deal.

Plus, i kinda had trouble with my contact lens on that same day. Not only does it hurt, i ended up wearing only one contact lens & rushing home to get my glasses. Le Sigh.

Food always turns everything around. ;)

We had to put everything into once container. Hahaha. Lil' piggies.

The food was good no doubt about that. the 6 of us were so stuffed after that. We had lo mai kai, char siew pau's and even dessert. Lastly, Jasmine tea to wash everything down. :)

We walked around after that, in hopes that the food will digest faster. heh.

I doubt it's just me. But it's so coooooooool! :)

For some reason, we all ended up at Snowflake. Despite the fact that we have a branch right outside our college. I guess the atmosphere was better there ;)


Now it's time for me to work, work and work! Last semester is the time to make the most out of it. :)

First day of college is over! :)

It feels like it is still going to take some time before i get truly accustomed to college life once again. I am so thankful that there's no 8am classes this semester! So thankful that i don't have classes right up to 6pm also. Most thankful for the fact that my Fridays are off. I could use those days to catch up on extra homework, interviews and etc.


Reality is sinking it. It's my last semester in college and i still feel like i haven't truly accomplished anything. Well, maybe it's partially due to my dreams of actually pursuing studies overseas. Preferably in the US or UK. Although it's scary to leave my comfort zone, that's one thing i want to do in this lifetime. To actually pursue studies overseas. :) Who knows, i still have my Masters to go.

Some thoughts about my finals semester in college..

I am actually going to miss all my classes, especially Art class. Although it was done a semester ago and i'm still bummed about the fact that he didn't give me an A. :( it's the people that i'm going to miss, the silly antics and the whole college experience.

It's also my last semester to wear anything and everything i want from my wardrobe. Technically, when i begin work i don't have much say on what i can/cannot wear already.

It's an extremely outdated picture. And a blur one. The size has increased..by a bit. ;)

And whatever else comes to mind.

On another note, politics is not so messed up after all.
