Spreading some Doraemon love!

I grew up with Doraemon.

When we were much younger, my brother and I used to spend money at local bookstores buying Doraemon and Detective Conan comic books. We would wait patiently for the weekend to come so that we could purchase our RM4 comic books and read it immediately. I loved those comic books. I'm also pretty sure it has helped me tremendously in my BM. ;)

I laughed at the silly things the gang used to do. I use to get angry when Giant and Suneo use to bully Nobita. I was a hopeless romantic and always wished for Nobita and Shizuka to end up together (although I knew what the future holds). I used to marvel at the creations that came out from Doraemon's pocket, wishing I could use it too. I used to feel for Nobita's mum when she nagged him about something and he would find various ways to shut her off. I was truly devastated when Doraemon's ears malfunction at the end.

I never realised what a big role Doraemon played in my life until I typed it all out.

With all that being said, how could I resist visiting 100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets Expo? :)

The entrance.

Doraemon smiling at you from his time machine!

The reason Doraemon is blue, not yellow!
The hall was filled with life-sized Doraemons with different gadgets he used throughout his lifetime! It's like a sea of blue and white packed with tons of people. It took us awhile since we had to wait in line if we wanted a decent picture with anything around.

Here's some of the gadgets I fondly remember and I really wish these gadgets exist today!

When attached to any part of the body, it allows you to fly up into the air.
But continuous use for more than 8 hours will exhaust its batteries.
Give candy and at the same time tell them what you want to publicize.
The person who has eaten the candy will keep publicizing for you.
If you inhale this gas, an ordinary incident will turn extraordinary.
The mood of the environment changes according to what the band is playing.
If a person eats anything that's copied to the back of the bread, he/she will be able to memorize it exactly and recite it.
The light ray from this gadget will paralyze any living thing.
No one can reach the destination if this road sign is set.

Wear this shoes and stand on any storybook to walk through a fairytale and even change the storyline.
It's used to test whether a marriage is happy or not before a couple decides to tie the knot.
When you wear the glasses, you can see 100 years into the future.
The one who would willingly come along with me for anything! <3 td="">
Doraemon galore!
A dream come true - Shizuka marrying Nobita!
It was not purely an exhibition, there was loads of opportunities for us to snap pictures too! I'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

The one thing i've always wanted as a child - memory bread!
Game stalls!
After everything, we decided to buy some Doraemon takoyaki!
Custard-filled takoyaki snack :)

To all Doraemon lovers, this is something not to be missed! I'm glad I managed to visit the exhibition before it closes next week. :D

Visit them!

Summer time with Clinique!

Think summer.

Think...
Image from here

YES! Fun fun under the sun. Although we're celebrating summer all year long in Malaysia, there's no harm in having our own fun! Think swimwear, sunglasses, ice creams on a hot blistering day, building sandcastles, beach games & water spooorts! Nothing beats visiting the beach (In this case, a man made beach. Still counts okaaaayyy), especially with the weather these days!

On the 14th of July, Clinique invites you to do just that.

I think the poster pretty much sums everything up! What are you waiting for? ;)

Don't forget to visit Clinique's FB page for more information & CLICK LIKE for even more summer fun!
See you all there!

Home is where the heart is! :D

Since i haven't been updating much, here's a picture of me. HEH.

It's been awhile. But i had to stop gym-ing at Celeb Fitness already. I'm slowly starting to miss that place! Not so much of the annoying trainers (or TRAINER in particular) who has done nothing but harass me. It has reached a point where i can't even step on the treadmills to have a proper run without someone talking to me continuously about things i'm not interested it.

Gotta start motivating myself by finding new ways to run! :) Need teman to run soon!

Aunt sent me a Kate Hill sling bag all the way from Aussie. Much <33

On contrary to what everyone thinks, i have not been rotting at home. In fact, i've been out almost everyday. For the past few days, it's been for work-related stuffs. I just wanna spend time at home doing absolutely nothing. Yes, it might be a crazy thing to ask for but i guess home is where the heart is :)

I can laze around the whole day at home and not feel bored. There's so many things to do at home! Such a relaxing feeling to just sleep in too. I ♥ sleeeeeeep.

For work purposes, i attended KFC's Chillout launch on Tuesday :)
I LOVED THE DECO'S!!

Love the deco!

The candy table! *salivates*

Cupcakes calling out to us!

Photoframes on the tables :)
Time to just rest at home again! :))

Hiking up Broga Hill!

I love my friends.
Friends who make plans to climb Broga Hill at 4am in the morning. :)

To be honest, i never really knew how it was climbing Broga Hill. I've just heard about people going there. I mean people have survived it..so i assume that it isn't so bad! Plus, it was an adventure we all needed. Something different from the usual outings. :)

Apologies in advance for the pix-elated & blurry pictures!

View @ about 5am

The most exciting part about the whole adventure would be hiking up in the dark. I think the sense of mystery & excitement would be lost if we were climbing up the hill during the daytime. It was quite amusing yet nerve-wrecking because my only source of light was a tiny L.E.D torchlight. Imagine if i shined my light on something....well, not from this world. =/

I thought i was prepared for it. I had torchlight, a huge water bottle, comfy clothes, sport shoes & i even ran 4km before that to prepare my body for it physically.
Boy, was i wrong!

I was out of breath countless of times. I kept slipping on the muddy patches & i nearly fell several times. If it wasn't for Roeshan, i would have fallen off the cliff. Hahahaha.

Fellow adventurer.

Shoes that failed me!

view from the 4th peak.

I like how my hair looks super RED in this pic. But it's blurry :(

After hiking for what seems like forever, we finally reached the top! I gave up many times. If it wasn't for someone pushing me to go further, i'll probably be stuck at the bottom. With the rest of the people who gave up too early. Motivation in any form is good motivation :)

The proof that we reached the peak.

Pictures from the top. :)

The 'accomplished' look!

Next round, more hills!
