Mood swings. You got that right.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

No it isn't about some silly boy. Which always seems to be the first thing that anyone would think of. It isn't.

I've tried so hard to built up this house of cards, only to watch it tumbling right before my eyes.

Is losing a friend painful? Heck yeah. Only when they've been using you all this while. Everything you've done? Not appreciated one bit. The things i would do for a friend. Yet, not much i would get in return. No matter how many times i've gone through it, it doesn't make the next time any easier.

But like the last picture says, all emotional pain lasts for twelve minutes. It's over twelve minutes now, time to move on. :)

One friend less. Doesn't make the world any gloomier. But just a gentle reminder to not dwell in things.

Saw this while i was driving home during one of CNY break. Thank you, whoever you are. :)

It's just a gentle reminder to constantly keep myself connected to God. No matter what earthly things were pulling me away. I think that sometimes, i spend way too much time worrying about what the future holds for me instead of actually living happily in the present.

But i guess it's time to leave that all behind.

It's always taking us forever to redeem our vouchers. We took over a year to redeem this Dim Sum deal. On the bright side, it's always (well most of the times) worth it. Especially because we have such a killer deal.

Plus, i kinda had trouble with my contact lens on that same day. Not only does it hurt, i ended up wearing only one contact lens & rushing home to get my glasses. Le Sigh.

Food always turns everything around. ;)

The food was good no doubt about that. the 6 of us were so stuffed after that. We had lo mai kai, char siew pau's and even dessert. Lastly, Jasmine tea to wash everything down. :)

We walked around after that, in hopes that the food will digest faster. heh.

I doubt it's just me. But it's so coooooooool! :)

First day of college is over! :)

It feels like it is still going to take some time before i get truly accustomed to college life once again. I am so thankful that there's no 8am classes this semester! So thankful that i don't have classes right up to 6pm also. Most thankful for the fact that my Fridays are off. I could use those days to catch up on extra homework, interviews and etc.

Reality is sinking it. It's my last semester in college and i still feel like i haven't truly accomplished anything. Well, maybe it's partially due to my dreams of actually pursuing studies overseas. Preferably in the US or UK. Although it's scary to leave my comfort zone, that's one thing i want to do in this lifetime. To actually pursue studies overseas. :) Who knows, i still have my Masters to go.

Some thoughts about my finals semester in college..

I am actually going to miss all my classes, especially Art class. Although it was done a semester ago and i'm still bummed about the fact that he didn't give me an A. :( it's the people that i'm going to miss, the silly antics and the whole college experience.

It's also my last semester to wear anything and everything i want from my wardrobe. Technically, when i begin work i don't have much say on what i can/cannot wear already.

It's an extremely outdated picture. And a blur one. The size has increased..by a bit. ;)

And whatever else comes to mind.

On another note, politics is not so messed up after all.

It's time like these where i start to dread growing up.

I could always be that girl at 5, without a care in the world. My only concern was about what i was going to eat and ways to get back at my brother after he bullied me. Oh yes, i still remember him 'accidentally' dropping a screwdriver on my poor feet. Ouch much.

Or i could be that girl at 11. Secretly waiting for a letter from Hogwarts, or Hagrid smashing my door down and explaining that i'm supposed to be in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I'll be praying everyday before i turn eleven, for some miracle to happen. Although my wish was a little far-fetched, a small part of me wanted it to be real. :) I'd rather study Potions over Science any day!

Even the whole high school period. Those were the glory days. :D Too many good memories throughout the years. We came out with genius plans to escape doing our homework.

I was digressing.

I rather be young and naive now. Not fixing my resume and googling for the best jobs in Selangor. I'm pretty adamant about staying here to work. I'm in no rush to go all the way to Genting or even Singapore just yet.

Work and Travel USA? 2nd option though. :)

One more semester to go till i actually head into the working world. I can/cannot wait.

One of the disadvantages of enjoying myself too much is falling sick.

*grumbles* My semester is beginning next week and i'm sitting at home using up boxes of tissues and feeling woozy the entire day. I still have not completed my resume. :)

It's just that i want to sit at home without a care in the world. Sleep in all day long. And gym till i actually feel like i've accomplished something. Well, few more days left to achieve that!

I shall take loads of flu meds and sleep to my hearts content :)

On Monday some of us decided to go for a 'roadtrip'. At least that was our original plan. We started with Dim Sum at PJ in the morning. And..we were absolutely clueless on what to do next.

So we decided to go to Levian. Even after having Dim Sum for bfast!

I still can't get over how the guys tricked me. They manage to steal my pastry right under my nose and lie to me about eating it in two bites. It was just lying on En Lin's lap the whole time. =___=" Lovely friends! Hmmphhhh.

After that we headed to Pavillion to purchase movie tickets. But as usual, tickets were available but it was right in front. I feel so deprived. I haven't seen any movies in awhile. Planning to catch 23.59. Horror flick. ;)

They said this will kill your feet..

Although.. I don't mind this pair of heels. So pretty!

But i think walking around with flats can also kill you. Especially if you've been out for almost everyday, walking around huge shopping malls (or being dragged along to far away places) or just visiting for Christmas.

My legs were so sore that i crashed after i reached home everyday.

It became so painful that i somehow managed to worsen my cracked heels? It became so bad that it's pretty horrific to look at. No, i'm not going to post a picture of it. It just..makes me feel like a old person. Aching legs, cracked heels, etc.

I wonder what's next! :/

I'm just going to take an effort and use the pumice stone EVERYDAY and some ointments to cure it. Home-made remedies at it's best! Read more here.

Christmas was simply lovely ♥

It was great, spending time with family & loved ones. In fact, i've been out so much that my legs are almost 'killed' in the whole process! Just when i thought i was going to have some rest, i'm being dragged to KL again tomorrow.

Not complaining. Making up for my lack of exercises. =P

I guess these days, the phone matters more than anything else.

Has the value of conversations decreased so much that people rather spend them scrolling through meaningless websites while having dinner? Or is that how the world acts now?

"Why are you getting so anti-social? Eat also wanna use the phone."

So? I got nothing to talk what.

Reality bites eh. It's not that there's nothing to talk about, it's more of i-rather-spend-my-time-with-my-phone. Or maybe i'm just feeling a lil left out. I don't like silence. At all.

Iphones. Pfftttt.

But then again, it still boils down to the fact that it's so hard to have normal dinners these days. And you wonder why you even bothered trying in the first place.

During a dinner on Saturday, i met up with some relatives i haven't seen in ages. And some that i've never seen in my life. To no surprise, every single kid there had an Ipad. The youngest one was 3, and she already had her own. All the kids in the 'children's' room had an Ipad each too, playing it the whole time.

A little spoiled don't you think? And you wonder why everyone turns out to be such brats. Haha. But who am i to judge?

The world is getting more dependent on technology, and every is virtual now.
Thank God for the friends who made everything much more better. ♥

Holidays have been good to me so far! I've just been catching up on my sleep, visiting & meeting people and....not forgetting playing Pokemon. ;)

I've been a little too caught up playing Pokemon Yellow these days. All cos i thought of Pokemon one day, told me friend about it and he got caught up in the hype. Next thing i knew, he got the all the different versions of the game from his friend and got addicted to it. Then when he finally sent the files to me, it was time for me to get addicted to it!

Then yesterday me and my brother took a drive to Genting, picked mummy back and went around Genting with her friend at the same time.

Studying oh studying.

There's no joy that comes out of this. Instead, i just feel bored most of the time. Bored beyond belief. :'( I'm just counting down the days till i'm done with everything.

I'm even planning a list of things 'To-Do' after finals! My mind is waaaaaaaay too distracted. Heh.

On another note, i called my Art lecturer up after my paper today, just to confirm my full coursework marks.

Mr Bad: "Stephanie ahh, *list down coursework marks one by one* You scored really high for your studio work, but your mid-term actually pulled your marks down. But don't worry, work hard! You can do it, don't give up okay? You can score A- worst comes to worst. Okay?"

I found this pretty hilarious. I called him about an hour AFTER finishing my Art paper & he's telling me not to give up! He must be too confused about the time. Heh.

Besides the fact that Christmas is around the corner, i loved the fact that i scored tickets to watch Aladdin the Musical! Thank youuu Avante ♥

I took a break in the midst of studying to enjoy the musical. *Ignoring the fact that i've been taking waaaaaaaaaaaay too many breaks* Heh. It's so distracting and my books aren't interesting enough. Plus, it feel as though nothing is going into my head despite reading it countless of times.

Woooohooooo :)))

Even before we entered the Amphitheatre, we had a pretty interesting journey there. Upon arriving at the surf beach entrance, we found out that the tram taking us to the Amphitheatre was full & we had to wait for the next one. I was eye-ing the buggy, hoping that somehow someone would offer to take us on it.

The next thing i knew, a random police offer called us onboard the buggy. So away we went! It looked like the officer knew where he was driving. Next thing i knew, he was driving in the middle of some place which has construction. And one of the workers began to yell "Stop". I swear, the more the worker yelled, the faster the officer drove. =/

You can imagine the thoughts flashing through my mind. I was so afraid that we were going to knock into an oncoming tram or something along those lines. Thankfully, we reached the place safely. God kept us in good yet stubborn hands. Hahaha.

Stage Set-Up. The prison was to the left & the cave was on the right. Couldn't capture all in one go.

Coincidentally or on purpose, SIC-ians were seated to my left and in front of me. Haha. And i'll definitely remember the girls seating behind of me.

The noiseist girls EVER. They are prolly about 10 or 11? But with super laser mouths. And their screams...gosh. It was entertaining listening to their antics, but it got annoying real fast. Their parents didn't control them either. =___=" That was a slight damper cos we couldn't fully focus on the show at times.

The show was entertaining right from the beginning when Aladdin 'flew' on a harness to the front of the stage. :D It was the same ol' story of Aladdin, minus Abu the monkey and of course, a modern twist to it.

I thought they were going to sing more Disney songs, but nevertheless they got the crowd captivated. I recognized the dancers from the previous Magical Musicals(read about it here). I remember disliking the dancers the first time round, but this was much better. :)

It was definitely a fun-filled night! Although there were some bland moments, but it was enjoyable indeed! I liked how the Genie infuses "Lah" into his sentences engaging with the crowds, how they brought up Sunway Lagoon in their story, how they got us to sing along to their songs and how handsome Aladdin looked. HEH.

It's been too long since i've actually sat down & revised. This whole semester was spent slaving away in front of the computer. Pretty sucky i'd say.

I don't even want to think of the fact that we might have to redo an assignment. It's too near to finals to even think of that. When the time calls for it, then i'll worry about it.

ART CLASSES ARE DONE FOR GOOD! *jumps around ecstatically*

Done.Habis.Finito.

I spent the whole semester being annoyed & pissed at my art lecturer in almost every single class. Something always went wrong, he always changed his mind, and he basically pissed everyone off. Every single time.

Truth be told. Despite whatever he did, it wasn't that annoying. I didn't feel the need to bring up the complaints to the higher level. I thought that although most of my classmates were really annoyed, he still does not deserve that much hate.

After all the trouble, we all got full marks. So i deem it as a good thing. I'll take good marks over anything else next time. Plus, i became quite fond of some people too. ;) Emphasize on the SOME. :)

I'm regretting the fact that i didn't take a picture of the end result. After working so hard for it, there's a huge sense of accomplishment.

I didn't get to take pictures of the rest as we were fully concentrated on devouring the meatballs. Plus, we arrived at 10.30am, reading to sink our teeth into the yummy meatballs only to find out that they start serving from 11.30am onwards. :((

We ate their 99cents kueh teow & chicken wings to pass the time.

Meatballs never tasted so good. :D

For me at least. I love reading & i can't get enough of it.

In the midst of all the assignments, classes and socializing(which i swear has gone down to a minimal level), i keep wishing for someone to whisk me away to paradise. I want to just sit on the beach & read books all day. Nothing else, just peace and quiet.

I'm just tired of people talking to me and telling me the same thing.
"Stephanie, don't you have time for anything else? You're always working on your assignments! Give yourself a break. "

Oh dearies, if only i could just drop everything and relax. If such option was even remotely available.

I wished i knew where the Dell Webcam application went. The moment i decide to look for it, it goes missing. I guess even my laptop is telling to rush & finish up this last major assignment. I am afraid of saying last assignment because i know it isn't. I'll have to rush for another one after this.

I am in need of a break. :)

Break from those who come to find me only in times of need. If boredom was a reason to interact with friends, the world is becoming a whole lot messed up.

Sleepless nights

The past week was literally a never ending nightmare. First time ever in all 4 years of my college life.

No matter how much we've done to complete our group assignment, tons of last minute things will pop up. And even despite spending ages editing it, it still boils down to the same problem. The worst part is to find out about major problems on that day itself. Gosh.

I now know the true meaning to sleepless nights. We'll attend classes, spend our whole day together in different Starbucks to complete our assignments, come home and stare at the computer screen till 2 or 3am. And repeat the cycle again.

I couldn't take it last night, after coming home i crashed for two hours.
Before editing till 5am. And today, rushed for 2 presentations. It was just insane.

Thank God for the strength. I now need to crash before reality hits me again. I am in denial now. It feels as though a huge weight has been lifted of my chest. As though i am completely done with work. (trying to ignore the fact that 2 more assignments are due next week)

Just when things couldn't have gotten any worse, God works wonders. It might have been pure turmoil, constant heartache from always doing the right thing for the right reason but pushed down, all these external forces telling us that we are wrong, and just one heck of an obstacle.

But faith is all we need. ♥

Starbucks has really pretty tumblers. ;)

The picture is just an example because i can't find the actual picture of my new favorite Starbucks tumbler. For some reason, the bunch of us from college were going mad over Starbuck's tumblers and their new debit/loyalty card. I joined them in the hype too, going gaa-gaa over the Christmas edition.

I just fell in love with the Starbucks Polar Bear Tumbler. I know it's a little childish. But it's super nice to look at: glitter all around, snowflakes and a tiny polar bear at the bottom. :')

I was even googling pictures of it, posted one up on FB and i kept telling my friends that i wanted it. My intentions were simple, i just liked it so i wanted to share with the world. I know people won't actually buy it for me, it's just something we say we want from time to time.

Like i told a friend, "It's a want, not a need. I'll be fine."

the next thing i knew, i received a message on FB. Stating that Santa said i've been good this year, and i've gotten the Starbucks Tumbler as a present. :'))

Thank you AuntyD. ♥ I'm truly blessed to have people like you in my life! And that turned my whole day around. Praise the Lord!

I am truly blessed.

With truly incredible friends who will buy for me OPI Shatter. ;) And the best part is, they didn't even know that i have been eye-ing for some time already. I saw it once in Singapore, but there was a chance that it could have been fake. I saw the promotion on Groupons but i did not dare to purchase it.

But i got my hands on it! ♥

Also, last Sunday was my final day of Sunday Classes. :'(

30 minutes in Inti's elevator.

Never in a million years would i imagine that i would be stuck in an elevator. Never.

Worst part is that it's Inti's elevator. I think it's a sign. Either a sign that Inti is crumbling into pieces or that i need to start walking up the stairs more often. I would prefer to think it's the latter. ;)

On a normal Thursday morning, i was heading downstairs with Joan and Lixia. And another poor soul who was We didn't want to walk down 6 flights of stairs so we took the elevator. And that's when 'horror' began. We were almost reaching the first floor when the lift plunged and stopped.

We were stuck. Tons of things were running through my mind. I was trying to recall the do's/donts when an elevator breaks down.

1. Ring the Emergency Bell gazillion times(until someone answers you through the intercom)

It's kinda dumb how they made the bell sound super annoying. So when we rang it repeatedly, it began to annoy us. But we had to keep ringing it until whoever was on the receiving end answered us. The fella could barely hear us and he just repeated this "Press the Open button".

We were not idiots. Pressing Open repeatedly would not open the door if we were stuck.

2. Don't PANIC

Which was exactly what we did. Instead of getting scared, we started laughing and talking excitedly about being stuck in an elevator. I think the guy with us could not panic because we were so noisy. It was a funny sight indeed. This led us to becoming a little bit jakun...

3. Take pictures!

Hahahaha! I still cannot get over the jakuness of this.

We even asked the guy if he wanted a memorial picture of this event. Too funny. :D

4. Stop talking too much! Conserve the oxygen!

It's one thing we learnt from this experience. We were talking and laughing too much that we forgot to conserve the oxygen in the lift.

To one point where i felt super dizzy. It became quite hard to breathe and all of us sat down quietly in the lift.

5. Do not forget to FB and tweet about it while you're in the elevator ;)

For some reason my BB's internet was working but i could not receive calls or call out. So i resorted to whatsapp and tweeting and FB-ing while we were stuck there.

I have such wonderful friends! =_______=" I think everyone found it rather amusing that i was stuck in an elevator rather than my safety. Sighs.

Basically, don't panic and you'll be fine like us. After 30 miserable minutes of being stuck in it, the lift somehow managed to dislodge itself and we reached the first floor. Thank God that the lights were still working throughout the ordeal and we managed to come out safely.

Dearest mummy told me to complain about it. Saying that it was a traumatic experience. Hahaha. But i couldn't because it really wasn't! In fact, it was pretty fun ;)

I'm the kind of person who dislike going for concerts. I don't see a need for it, especially if we're all squashed up. I still remember going for All American Rejects, we sat behind comfortably. I didn't care about being close to the stage, i wanted to enjoy it. :D

But who could resist Planetshakers? :)

Despite starting incredibly late (doors were supposed to open at 3.30 but we only went in around 4.30), it was a good day! We managed to grab seats right in front and we filled up the whole row.

Just before the concert, i sat at home and listened to all their songs. Just to make sure i know every single song played at their concert. Great idea :)

I'm in love with so many new songs right now. Truly inspired. :) Praise God! ♥

So today, i'm happy.

For once, i'm done feeling all depressed over silly comments or negative comments.

So the news is that, i'm nice but apparently people should not be close to me. Even after all those confrontations and 'talks' i supposedly had with people, they still want to badmouth me? It comes to the point where i don't even know what's right anymore. There should be a line drawn somewhere. I'm so afraid to trust anyone but, let it be.

But. it doesn't hurt me this time around. For once, i'm not burdened by anything. It's an amazing feeling & words can't describe it. :') It's like, i'm not defined by mere words being said to me anymore. I don't have labels weighing me down.

Let them say whatever they want. God gave me incredible friends & i don't need to waste my time worrying about the negative ones. I have a great life. With him by my side, nothing can hold me back :)

The minute i sat down, switched on my laptop and start googling about Carrefour, i lost interest.

I feel like a drug junkie at the moment.

I've been taking panadol, cough syrup and flu meds. But the sad part is that my flu is not going away because i am allergic to the medicine. I used to be able to take the meds and recover in one day. Now, it's causing me to itch and have red blotches on my leg.

This sucks i tell you.

On top of that, i feel tired 24/7. And i have TONS of assignments to complete.

I'll have to say that today was probably one of the worst days i had in awhile. I guess all the other crappy days just led to this huh? And the ones you expect to stay and lend a shoulder to cry on are the ones who bail at the sight of trouble.

I guess we're all in need of some intervention. To stop all these negative energy before it gets worst. Right now, i have too much on my plate to handle. But i am trying to hold everything. Not just for myself, but for the benefit of everyone else.

All we need is time, patience and a whole load of prayers.

Being 20 feels like any other day. My teens are long gone, and a new chapter begins.

I was spending my day in a foul mood because my plans were being cancelled one after another. And things kept disrupting my mood.

Back home after a nice idyllic 4-day retreat.

To think that i almost wanted to pull out at the last minute and the fact that it almost happened is really disheartening. I guess it wasn't a matter of setting priorities, it was more of making time for something you set your heart out to go for.

It's simple really. But i don't know why i had to go and complicate things.

Thank you Lord for the wonderful, peaceful getaway. Maranatha Retreat house FTW. :D Any day, any time. Who knew that being Still could bring so many things? Peace and quiet all the way.

But it's back to reality now. Instead of encountering peace and quiet, i'll have to find time to MAKE it peaceful. and it is possible.

I'm just so grateful for so many things at the moment. :)))

I think i'm incredibly prone to diseases. Wherever i go. Whatever i do.

I can take flu meds, go to sleep and wake up with a terrible rash-thingy on my leg. At first i thought it was my ezcema coming back. And i spent my last night rolling in bed trying to stop myself from scratching my leg to prevent further damage. Woke up this morning and it actually became worst.

Finally visited the doctor and he said it was a bad case of an allergic reaction. I guess i just have to stay under the aircond.

It also took me awhile to get over making a decision.

Only to find out that it wasn't the right thing to begin with. God's plan i'd say.

Journals are almost becoming a 'sore' sight to my eyes. I can't believe that i have actually spent the last week changing my topic, looking for more journals and repeating the same cycle again. I don't call it perfection but i was quite fussy because i couldn't get the perfect topic. One major problem was getting a journal that actually came free. Kudos to those who actually research and write journals for a living. I know that it's one job i'll never pursue. :)

Thankfully, i've finally settled on product branding and the whole process has been pretty smooth so far. ;)

And after months of complaining of body aches and wishing that i had the opportunity to visit a spa, or have a massage for that matter. And my wish finally came through at Moss De Beaute. :)))

Kath and I finally booked our appointment there. We ♥ Groupon cos without their deal, i doubt any of us would be heading for a massage anytime soon. Yay!

I feel like reading all these journals are making my brain cells die even faster.

Who knew that it took forever just to read 14 pages(minus the citations) of articles related to marketing? Even reading the textbook or notes does not take me that long!

Thank you Lord for finally making it sink in my head. I found my 3 main articles after searching endlessly through the free database. The remotely interesting ones were either 60(plus) pages in length or had a fee. =/ One thing is for sure, i'm never going to publish a journal. Not one related to business anyways.

So while i'm taking a break, i'm trying to learn the art of being 'thick-skinned'.

A last minute decision to join a contest. Haha. I'm not gonna blast it out on Facebook simply because i don't think i have the chance to win. And..people aren't really receptive of models/host/ambassadors that do not fit the stereotype. Heh.

I'm so addicted to watching the Glee Project on Star World right now.

Without fail, every mon to wed night at 9pm i'll force whoever is watching any OTHER shows to please turn to my show. ;) I know i need to cut down on teevee shows but i just can't help myself.

You can feel yourself falling in love over and over again with these people. I love how the show is going to written around a real person, not a fictional person on screen.

It's funny how i feel like i'm on the outside most of the time. On the outside as in, i am physically there but it's as though i'm detached from my body. Don't get me wrong, it does not occur every single day. Or else..that's might be a serious case of mental illness. ;)

8am class was horrible because i almost could not pull myself out of bed. It's kinda sad that after my Sunday, i'll have to sleep early and wake up around 6. I sure hope my body adjust to the timing soon enough.

3 weeks of holidays well spent. ;)

I'm glad i didn't work. I had more time to relax. I still had a lot of things to settle, no doubt about that. =/

On Friday, a bunch of us went for paintball. It was almost like having activities in high school. Till today, i'm happy to say that no one has really changed. I'm glad that even after not speaking or meeting each other for ages, we can still go back to the 'kids' we once were. I like how things never change.

But the downside to the whole thing was, my injured arm. Who knew that using the gun *points above* would have caused me to sprain my arm? I can keep googling the symptoms because i am still unsure of the exact cause but i'm pretty sure it's something to do with the muscle. I think. :/ It's been hurting for almost 3 days right now.

Let's hope the new ointment that mum got me works.

Also, classes begin tomorrow. I'm praying that the next semester will be nice to me.

I want more A's ;)

I got bored of my blog once again, which explains the new layout. After a whole load of thinking and annoyance(more on myself), i think i would like to change everything. Making me feel like it's some fresh start. Strange but reassuring in some ways :)

I find it a little hilarious that i always promise myself to complete a whole load of things during my holidays but when it actually comes down to doing it, nothing is completed.

Now there's only about 4 days left till i resume classes and..

....I haven't cleared my shelf from last semester. It's so messy. :/

....I have yet to watch all the shows i was planning to catch up on. Vampire Diaries? :(

....So much for working. My plan failed with flying colours. D:

One night in Penang :)

Random trips are pretty cool. Especially if we have the GPS with us. :))

It was a last minute trip the week after our finals. Me, Joan, Farina and Samuel headed to Penang for some well needed/deserved break. Booked the hotel a day before and off we went!

Started our day at Melur and after our tummies were full, our day began. :D

Sam bought a whole packet of tissues for us during the trip.

Forgetting that we girls already had a whole load in our bags.

I didn't take a proper picture of our room. Wasted. :/ But the Oriental Hotel definitely looked better inside. It might look shabby if you pass it by, but the room was huge. One queen sized bed and two single beds. We definitely had more than enough space to sleep :)

Our agenda for the first day: Hike to the Monkey Beach. :)

All set. :)

We had to hike from Point A to Point D.

Which took supposedly took ONE hour and FIFTEEN minutes. Took us 2 hours instead.

Upon arriving in Point D, a boat will come for us. The lady told us that the hike was on a properly paved road and insisted that i wore slippers. Boy, was she wrong. =___="

I only took some shots because it became too troublesome to snap pictures after that. That was also before it got too tiring.

In the beginning it was just rocky paths and wooden bridges. Halfway, it became a little tricky. We had to carefully maneuver around some of the big roots, climb over rocks, pull ourselves over steep slopes and even going through the beach to get to our destination.

But we survived it! :) I'm so glad that i finished it, despite the fact that i ended up with terrible blisters that day.

We took a walk to the pier after that :)

After the long tiring day, we ended up in Batu Ferrenghi. Ate and walked around the bazaar's there.

Nex day, ate like pigs again and we visited the Toy Museum. Never knew the 'biggest' one was in Penang. Nor the fact that there was a Toy Museum there to begin with.

It's funny how things can change from day to day.

Being happy is temporary? One minute everything is fine, the next minute, it's back to before. Yeah, something has changed. And i'm still figuring it out along the way.

If i have to do it alone, so be it. I'm missing friends every single day. But i'm not gonna chase after broken friendships. I'll try not to. Life goes on. :)

I've too busy to update. Plus, my laptop crashed because of the silly virus. So i've been using my desktop. But it isn't the same. :'(

I slept and the whole thing actually came off. I thought it was gonna last for a few days. It's either the fact that i move around too much in my sleep till it rubbed off, or that temporary tattoo does not last on my skin. Either way, it's depressing.

Broken friendships.

I stood in front of a crowd and spoke to them about struggles i went through. And how despite everything, i placed God first.

I spoke about broken friendships. How i had lost so many friends in the process but yet gained so many new ones. Amazing ones. :)

And one guy asked "Did it hurt losing those friends?".

Ouch. Reality bites.

It definitely did. I spoke about letting go and just praying. If the friendship isn't mean to be, so be it. Let God decide what he wants for me. If i keep chasing and wanting more, God will snatch it away from me. Just to teach me a lesson.

But speaking about it and actually practicing it now is a different story.

So start practicing what you preach. Let go.

Our plan was to go head to Pavillion super early, get our vouchers and wait for our turn. Then head around KL to shop. Cos of delays, we only reached at 1p.m. Crave tutti frutti :D

My make-up artist was dull. Seriously. She looked pretty that's for sure, and she did an amazing job. But she had her muka masam on the whole time. And the only words she spoke was "Open", "Look up". I liked the one i got last year. She was nice :))

♥ the hair. ;) Even in the mirrors makeover, they pulled my hair up the same way. I don't know if that's the 'lazy' way of styling my hair or that's a pretty good way to do so. But the minute she started pulling my hair back, i told her that i don't like it when it's all up. It makes my forehead look huge and i personally don't think it suits anyone, except for cheerleaders on Glee. heh. Hence, the fringe.

Effed up virus.

Of all days, a virus decided to attack my computer today.

At first it was affecting Facebook,

sending "Hi, how are you". And when people reply, it will continue chatting with them. Seriously, are the viruses/hackers getting worst out there? From affecting my Facebook, it went on to disrupting my whole laptop. Now my icons at the side look weird, my Kaspersky isn't loading. When i click on it, it shows that my computer went into a "Super Protect Mode". How? I don't really know.

Now the virus is back on Facebook. Let me study for Finals first please? Then i'll try to solve this damn problem.

During the whole time they were showing the Little Mermaid. I haven't watched that show since i was a kid! I was so engrossed! Even the lady giving me a manicure noticed it. The minute the first CD finished showing, she quickly rushed and changed the CD. :)

It was a pretty good pampering session. Especially after a stress induced week.

It's been a hectic week i would say. Balancing studies, assignments, meeting up with friends and all the other miscellaneous activities.

Finally attended another college event. It's been..awhile. :)

Plus points: It was a street dance competition. Some performances were just mind-blowing. ;) Jin from Hitz.FM hosted the show, and it's been awhile since we had decent emcee's. Especially ones that could SPEAK proper English.

Other than that, some of the stuffs said were pretty cringe-worthy. Especially the comments from the judges. Couldn't even understand some comments.

But it was a good night. :)

Now i have this to take.

Went to the doc after classes today because i was afraid it might turn out to be something harmful. He checked my ears, found it clear. Pressed pressure points around my head, still nothing wrong. So he presumes that it's deep inside the year. I now have to take all these meds for the next few days.

Sighhs.

Just one day without my Blackberry Internet Service and i'm already suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Gosh. It's tough not being able to check my emails, twitter and all the social apps.

Plus, i've been on Skype with at least one person every single night. To the point where my mum started questioning me about it because i'll be on call for super long time.

This post is two weeks late. :)

I haven't exactly had time to save all the pictures until..well today to be exact. I didn't take much pictures so the ones i've uploaded were either taken from the ER CD or the many photographers who took pictures on that day. :) Thanks to all.

We reached Sarawak on Friday afternoon, and was greeted by Vicky carrying the ER banner to the airport. Hahaha. It was funny indeed. But i really got to thank every single one who drove us around. It's definitely not an easy task driving all the delegates around. There were people from KK and Penang too. But really, thanks to all. Vicky, Rick, Justin, Joshua and James. I hope i didn't miss anyone out. :)

Funny how all of us were so colour coordinated on that day. The 3 who came that day. And the 3 who were already there. We kinda stayed in coordination throughout the whole night. :)

I was pretty excited that night. Saw plenty of familiar faces and i was hyped up for the Concert. When i came last year, i only arrived on Saturday. Missing the concert on Friday because my final paper was from 5 to 7. Crappiest time to end a paper. :(

I loved the concert. It's different that what I've experienced before. It's pretty hard to describe how the whole thing went. It's just such joy to be able to sing and dance for the Lord. In fact, you had to be there to feel God's presence. To feel his love flowing through the room. I sang my heart out, shouted, danced and just went crazy for the Lord. It's amazing. :')

After all that, they took us to supper at one of their famous late night hangout spots. Hahaha. We did this last year too. All the delegates will be there and some of the ER peeps will join us. The food is extremely nice and it's super cheap! How to find Kolo Mee here for like RM3? Trying to have meals per in SS15 would cost me up to RM10 just for lunch. Just thinking about it makes me miss the food in Kuching.

Telang Usan was also a nice hotel to stay in. First night was horrible. Cos the aircond was blowing directly on my face at times. And even without that, i couldn't sleep. Luckily everything else was comfortable so i slept off in the end.

The next day was filled with talks and sessions. And a second concert. So many things learnt. So many things changed. I begin to see things differently which is in a good way i guess. :) If i were to talk about every single thing, that would take days. Plus, i believe that some things that i've figured out from the whole ER are not meant to be shared to the whole world. For everyone's sake. It's about me anyways. :)

I'll have to say that it's rare to find that connection that you have with god. Pure peace. And that's what i've felt during most of the sessions. He spoke to me in many ways during the whole 3 days. And i'm truly thankful for the experience.

As usual, all good things must come to an end. We were the first to leave Sarawak on Sunday. And what Andre said during the closing ceremony really stuck me. The theme for ER this year was Chosen. All of us are chosen, chosen to run this race, to spread God's news but unfortunately spend so much time preparing and we do not even run the race. We go for rallies, seminars, talks but we do not practice what we preach. It hit home for sure.

I'm so afraid of the temptations or the things that might pull me away from serving in the Ministry. BUT.. I know that my faith is firm. I'll continue serving because i want to serve, because it gives me joy to serve the Lord. I'm proud to say i'm chosen. :)

Thank you Lord for the 3 wonderful days. The friends i've made, the ones i've gotten closer to, the things i've learnt, moments of realization, time spent with God. That was the best ending to my holidays. I'm so glad. :)

I can't get enough of him. I tried googling for videos for the adorable fella but i guess it's not out yet. Soon!

The reason i'm posting this is because i saw a kid who reminded me so much of Baby Po. He was sitting in front me and my bro during mass today. He didn't have much teeth yet and he was drooling. But, his CHEEKS was so puffy! He was a human reincarnation of Baby Po. Seriously.

I melted when he kept staring at us and smiling. Hahaha.

Little kids who smile at me make my day. All the time. :)

First week of classes have already passed me by in blink of an eye. Only 7 weeks this semester. I'm still stuck in the holiday mood. Two weeks is really too short.

Today, i finally ate Banana Leaf after so long! If i'm right, the last time i ate it was when i was a kid. I use to love eating it. :)

It's quite an experience. Who knew that eating Indian food was such a process. I didn't know what to order.

I guess i just found out what Rasam is today. Thank you Isabelle for bugging me all this while for not knowing what Rasam is, or that i could just drink it like it's some beverage. I just ate it with my rice. The veggies tasted so nice today. :)

I'm definitely going to eat it more often. Don't worry. I won't be DEPRIVED of the Indian experience. ;) Hahaha.

We also had to go search for a bouquet for Adeline from her beloved sister all the way from UK(another reason why i'm superbly broke). Since Jaya One was within vicinity, we headed to the florist over there.

The only thing i did was choosing the roses. Everything else was left to the florist and she came up with such a beautiful bouquet.

Okay i admit. I'm am not big fan of concerts. Mainly because i think squeezing in big crowds is very 'yucky'. I don't lie being too close to others i don't know.

We went there early, hoping we could enter some area reserved specially for him. But the priority area was pretty small. Even if we stood on the outside, we could still see him just fine.

It's finally time i started blogging about Singapore. ;)

It was a nice break after our last paper on Monday. I remember only having a few hours of sleep before Singapore because 'some' people wanted to watch teevee and munch on chips. ;P Watching Masterchef at 1am isn't any good to maintain the weight.

*grumbles* GYM EVERYDAY! I'm feeling horrible for not going to workout for at least a week already.

Back to Singapore. :)

We started our day off early. Checked in AirAsia, got our tickets and just waited.

One minute we were on the plane, next minute we landed in Singapore. One thing that i hated the most about the whole journey there was the air turbulence. I hate feeling as though my heart is about to jump out. It's not a good feeling. Not good indeed.

Received our Easylink Cards and off we went! :)

One thing i absoluetely loved about the public transport there was how fast and efficient everything was. MRT's came every 4 minutes. Which is heaven compared to our KTM. You can't blame us for comparing every single thing over there. Even the escalators were moving super fast. If we were unsure of our footing, we'll be falling flat in a matter of seconds.

Located in the (Heart?) of Geylang. It was interesting at night. That's all i can say. ;)

I swear i took several pictures of the hotel room with my camera. But looking back through it now, i can't find a single one. I think everything went missing when my memory card went PMS-ing.

It's a decent room: Wide LCD TV, comfortable beds, closet and air-conditioning. Only problem was the aircond's mood swings. One minute it would be so cold, next minute we'll be suffering because it's so stuffy. Madness i tell you. I slept under the covers so comfortably on the first night, second night i couldn't sleep in peace.

We spent the evening in Bugis and then Orchard. Just walking around, looking at things until our feet was hurting so badly.

Picture above depicts Valen in action. He was using MY Ipanema sandals to crush a baby cockroach in our room. It was a nightmare i tell you. I hate creepy crawlies. I can't stand looking at them, can't stand even being in the same room as one. Knowing that a mini one was going to be crawling at night left me so unsettled. We girls got Valen to KILL it.

It died in peace. Pfft.

Next days, time for some serious walking. :D

Forgot what it's called. Some duck dish. ;P My breakfast.

We also tried the everfamous MOS burger's. Even before the trip, i kept hearing about how awesome the MOS burger's were. So we had to try it. Nothing...spectacular. Maybe it's because i chose a spicy one. :)

Our next destination was Sentosa Island. So we decided to be a little brave. Instead of taking the Monorail there, we hopped on a bus. The driver told us he'll definitely take us there.

We ended up right inside Resort World Singapore. Not exactly the destination we've planned on, but it was good enough. :)

Nothing really got me excited until..

A BUCKETFUL OF CANDY! *jumps for joy*

This store is amazing if you love candies. It's one of those candy shop where you just don't want to leave. They have assorted candies, chocolates and merchandise. We wanted to get M&M's shirts but the cuter design belonged to the kids. I wanted to take pictures inside, but there was a sign telling us that we can't. Everyone else took anyways. =____="

We took the Monorail which was free around Sentosa Island. Got on a tram that was going in circles and just sat in it for the fun of it. Haha.

We were torn between going for the 4D experience or the "Song of the Sea". But we settled for the latter in the end. Plus, it was slightly cheaper. Only $1o. :)

The place was PACKED. They filled every single space up. We got a good view from where were sitting nonetheless. I was quite excited because i remember watching a light show waaaay back in 2006. I was left in awe. So after trying to search for the exact same thing online, i found the "Song of the Sea" instead.

Cool eh? ;)

When the teenager first came prancing out, started waving and mimicking, i thought we were seriously at the wrong show. I might have googled the wrong thing up and brought everyone to the wrong show. But i was quite amused with their acting so i just continued watching.

And then. I was in awe once again. :) It was similar to what i've watch previously. The lights, water and fire made everything super exciting. :D It was definitely worth it.

We finally worked up and appetite and went to a cosy family restaurant in Vivo City to eat. It was considered a Farewell dinner for both Tuan Tynn and Ben. :)

Mmhmm. I love Sharkfin soup.

We ate to our hearts content. That's for sure. :) We wanted to do a little sight-seeing around Clark Quay but we were just too tired. The soles of our feet were killing us. I think all of us would have gladly paid any amount just to have a decent foot massage to soothe our legs. Anything would do.

Came back to our rooms and we just flopped on the beds. Watched Sister Act, iCarly till late. :)

The tattoo we girls agreed on doing together. :)

Last day, we decided to go to Fullerton Square.

Marina Sands Bay from afar. Oh, how i wish we could actually stay there!

We visited the Merlion Hotel. Which was an art project. We've been searching for the huge Merlion to snap some group pictures with. And then we found it..covered in a box. Which was the Merlion Hotel.

I can't really imagine sleeping with that over my head. =/

We settled for the tiny Merlion instead. :D

We had a great time there. And once again, time passed by in a flash. Singapore is definitely a place i would want to visit again. :)

Exams are OVER.

I'm finally done for the semester! Now i can have my anticipated two weeks break. :)) Yet it doesn't feel like exams are over yet. It hasn't sinked in i guess.

I'm just worried instead.

So much to do, so little time.

Who knew packing for a three day trip would be so tedious? Haha. The "100ml bottles in a zip-lock bag" is such a troublesome rule. Every single thing containing liquid has to be kept separately. Including stuffs like lip balm and eye drops. Maybe the only reason i'm extra worried is because the last time i traveled overseas was way back in 2006.

I think i'm almost done packing. To all who thinks i'm going to over pack, i'm not. :) Not this time anyways. Haha.

I'll be leaving for Singapore at 12pm tomorrow. Coming back on Thursday night. Let's hope everything turns out well. :) Can't wait!

One more paper on Monday, then i'm off to Singapore for 3 wonderful days. What better way to celebrate the end of the semester. ;) It's time we all actually went on a college trip together. All our other miserable plans failed.

I'm not going to fret thinking about my papers. Because even after taking forever to memorize everything, my brain refused to work during the exams. D:

It's over. One last paper. Statistics...

I've been watching way too many TV series after dinner. =/ It's not my fault that Star World is so addictive. Plus, i caught a little bit of the Royal Wedding last night. :)

I'll wake up early to study. And waste time in between. (I'm currently hooked on Amateur Surgeon 2. I gotta stop playing games. =/) And i'll go hardcore till it's like 4am. It works. :) I absorb so much more later at night. Not to mention having bad hunger pangs.

I was actually all geared up to study American Enterprise. It's one of those subjects which i just can't seem to wrap my head around. Whenever Mr. Eric poses a question, and ask us to relate it to everything that's going on in Malaysia, my brain just refuses to function. It's not like i don't read the news, it's just that i don't feel strongly about every single thing happening. Something new is bound to happen on a daily basis. So i'll leave it be. My goals for this week.

STUDY. Heck, i have thick textbooks to go through. =/ One chapter is taking forever. Technically, one page is taking FOREVER. Woe is me. :)

Cook on my own. Since i'll be home alone for lunch. I just hope i don't burn anything in process. A lil' prayers maybe? ;)

And stop being so lazy. I can do it!

I'm officially done with classes for the semester. (Not counting the class on Monday) ;)

I'm overjoyed. I'm can finally study properly for my finals without the need to rush & finish up lab reports, assignments and cram for quizzes. I'm all geared up. :) One week better come in handy.

Oh it better. Since i'm home alone next week, i'm gonna try cooking also. *cross fingers* I don't want to tear the kitchen down. :)

I miss painting easter eggs as a kid. I remember how excited i used to get when i got my hands on the egg. I would paint as many as i wanted and waited patiently for it to dry. Admiring my hard work. I'll keep it in my cupboard just to admire it. :)

I'm supposed to finish up my lab assignment but i'm checking out Facebook and watching the other classmates play Cluedo. I even opted to stay in the lab to work on my assignment while the rest went to Meeples to have some fun earlier. Focus Stephanie! You have another 20% test to study for tomorrow. :(

Thank you Nuffnang! ;) I had to post a creepy story about my own personal 'stalker-ish' experience. Unfortunately, i seem to have one. =/

I loved the whole psychological aspect of the movie. I've always been interested in learning about mental illnesses, which is why i wanted to take up Psychology but my request got declined. *grumbles* I remember reading the chapters on mental illnesses and i wanted to know more. :D

Besides the obvious gorgeous girls and drool-worthy guys in the movie, it had an interesting storyline. Who knew having a roommate could be so life threatening? Hahaha. I love the whole idea of going off to college, staying on campus and meeting random people in coffee shops. Or maybe that seems better in my head.

But yeah. Cool movie. Two thumbs up. ;)

I'm starting to get very addicted to Twitter already. Oh no. ;P

I've always told myself to never get Twitter. It just had the perception that it was tedious and i could never really figure out how to work it. 'Peer pressure' from you college people did not work. I was too strong for that. ;)

I guess all it took for me to be persuaded is a boring talk. It works even better if his powerpoint slides did not follow the 7 by 7 rules and the words were too small, when the speaker spoke so softly because he didn't know how to use the mic and when you're just plain bored.

I doubt i'll ever put myself through the pain to get the permanent one. But if i do, it will definitely be full of Hearts.

Since Inti had the Body Art booth, i decided to do one before they left. I'm gonna take good care of it so it would last till next week. :)
